The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FOHSS), Tribhuvan University (TU) is inviting applications for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program for the academic session 2023 (2080/081 B.S.).

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer/Electronics/Information Technology/Software Engineering
• Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
• Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc. CSIT)
• Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
• Bachelor of Education in Information and Communication Technology (Bed. ICT/BICT)

A minimum CGPA of 2.7 or a score of 45% in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Admission Details

• Online Entrance Application Form: April 28 – May 13, 2024 (Baisakh 16-31, 2081 B.S.)
• Late Application Fee: May 14-16, 2024 (Jestha 1-3, 2081 B.S.)

The application fee is Rs. 2,500 and can be paid online through e-Sewa or Khalti. Applications can be submitted through the FOHSS website at https://entrance.tufohss.edu.np/.

Entrance Examination

• Date: May 18, 2024 (Jestha 5, 2081 B.S.)
• Time: 1:00 PM
• Location: To be announced

The entrance exam results will be published on May 20, 2024 (Jestha 7, 2081 B.S.).

Quota

There are only 30 seats available for the MCA program at Patan Multiple Campus.
